Solar power is a clean and sustainable source of energy with a very critical role to play in the development of Africa's energy sector and economic development. The technology works by using photosentive semi-conductors to generate electricity.

 

The abundance of solar iradiation in Africa, the recently liberalised energy market, and the renewable energy incentives provided for in the sector makes the solar PV technology one of the major energy sources for the future of Africa. NSP intends to be at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution in Africa as a leading developer of solar projects in Africa.

 

This is why we are developing the 300 MW Shiroro solar power project in Kaduna, This will be largest solar power plant in Africa.
